Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna, Lata Mangeshkhar and Udit Narayan
(In translation the songs title means keep the Mehndi(henna) applied.  In traditional Hindu wedding ceremonies, which can last for 5 days, Mehndi is applied to the brides hands and feet.  It is custom that she do no work in the marital home until the Mehndi fades.)

Today's encounter was with Nas(left) and Aisha(right). Nas introducing herself to me saying "...Nas, like the rapper" made this encounter all the more memorable...

Decorating the wedding carriage comes from tradition of groom arriving to wedding on decorated horse. Typically netted garland and fresh flowers are used in decorating.
