People

Brain, Jungle Brothers

Sometimes I just throw on my camera, walking shoes, and see what I can find...people never disappoint.

People are my muse...

Everybody...

Everybody Love the Sunshine, D'Angelo

Feel the sunshine.

Only the two were acquainted...

Once faced with danger, they did what everybody would do...

Havre De Grace

The Meaning of July Fourth for the Negro (July 5, 1852), Frederick Douglass (performed by Jame Earl Jones)

A few years ago a family friend introduced us to an interesting and welcoming little town to 'celebrate' the countries independence.   The 4th of July (this year the 5th) celebration in this little town gives a peek into what the 'American Dream' society would look like, with everyone celebrating, living, and inter-mingling in harmony.  The mix of personalities found in this town is summed up quite nicely within the big parade down 'main street.' Not sure if that's the name of the street but there is something about this quaint town that would have anyone familiar with American cinema give it a similar misnomer.  In Havre De Grace I can enjoy the fairytale of independence...

Until next year (off to enjoy my independence)...

change of plans...

My, my, my, Johnny Gill (performed by the evening entertainment)

When plans change I am learning to try to make lemons out of lemonade.  By allowing what 'should have been' to determine how I deal with what 'is' the moment is lost...

Blessings aren't recognized...

The joy of others isn't acknowledged...

And the day is done...

That time can't be regained and thankfulness is exchanged for regret of not just living in appreciation for all you have.   So tonight I lived in the moment for those who can't (won't)...
